Face-to-Face Survey Services

Our Face-to-Face Survey Capabilities

We plan and execute face-to-face quantitative fieldwork end-to-end—from sampling approach and questionnaire setup to interviewer briefing, scheduling, and field supervision.

Our teams support CAPI/offline execution with validation checks, GPS/time-stamp verification (where applicable), and strong on-ground QC—covering household, intercept, and location-based studies.

After fieldwork, we deliver clean, reliable datasets with documentation and optional tabulations—built to support representative results even in challenging geographies.

How We Work?

We program questionnaires into CAPI (Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing) software with offline capability, complex routing, validation checks, and multimedia support. Tablets are configured with GPS tracking, time stamps, and secure data synchronization for centralized monitoring.

We recruit local field interviewers with language proficiency and cultural knowledge. Comprehensive training covers questionnaire content, probing techniques, tablet operation, sampling protocols, and ethical guidelines. Role-play sessions ensure interviewers can handle diverse respondent scenarios professionally.

Field supervisors coordinate interviewer teams, manage sampling quotas, track daily progress, and ensure protocol adherence. Real-time data uploads enable immediate quality review. Supervisors accompany interviewers for spot-checks and provide ongoing coaching throughout fieldwork.

GPS verification confirms interview locations, time stamps validate durations, and automated logic checks flag inconsistencies. Back-verification teams contact a sample of respondents to confirm interview completion and data accuracy. Photo documentation provides additional validation where appropriate.

Centralized data aggregation from all tablets ensures complete dataset assembly. We perform data cleaning, open-end coding, weighting calculations, and quality documentation. Final deliverables include clean datasets (CSV/SPSS/STATA), field reports, interviewer performance summaries, and geographic coverage maps.

Benefits

Reach populations with low internet or phone penetration while maintaining structured, representative sampling.

Higher engagement and completion rates through in-person contact and interviewer guidance.

CAPI-enabled validation (routing, range checks, GPS/time stamps) reduces errors and strengthens QC.

Best for showing physical stimuli, location-based measurement, and areas where context influences responses.

Frequently asked questions

01
When should I choose face-to-face surveys?
Choose face-to-face when you need strong coverage in areas with lower digital access, when response rates are critical, or when respondents must see/handle stimuli. It’s commonly used for household surveys, intercept studies, rural coverage, and emerging markets.
02
How do you sample and recruit respondents for face-to-face fieldwork?
We align the sampling approach to your objectives—household listing, random route, location intercepts, or quota-based recruitment. Field plans, interviewer training, and supervision are designed to maintain representativeness and minimize bias.
03
What quality controls do you use in the field?
We use supervisor monitoring, GPS/time-stamp verification, logic checks in CAPI, and back-check callbacks on a sample of completes. Interviewer performance and field metrics are tracked throughout to ensure consistency and authenticity.
04
Can you run face-to-face surveys across multiple cities or countries?
Yes. We execute multi-location face-to-face fieldwork with standardized training, consistent CAPI scripting, and centralized reporting—while adapting to local languages and on-ground realities.
05
What deliverables will I receive?
Cleaned datasets (CSV/SPSS/STATA), quota and fieldwork reports, QC documentation, and optional toplines. Weighting and open-end coding can be included based on the study design.
